            STATE REPORT CARD:  The Lake County School System is in good standing
Lake County High School
has met AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress). 
Margaret Newton Elementary
has been identified as a "High Priority" school in School Improvement 1. This status means that students did not meet state and federal goals in mathematics and reading. 
Lara Kendall Elementary has been identified as a "High Priority" school in School Improvement 2. This statue means that students at Lara Kendall, which was previously identified as a "High Priority" school in School Improvement 1, did not meet state and federal goals in mathematics and reading. Because Lara Kendall is in School Improvement 2, parents of eligible students may have the option of supplemental educational services. Contact Debra Holliman at the Central Office (253-6601) if you have any questions about supplemental educational services.

                      2011-2012      Margaret Newton offered PSC to 222 students; 0 participated in PSC

Teachers must hold a valid Tennessee license and be highly qualified in their respective fields. 
All interested parties should contact the Lake County Board of Education or complete and mail the application below.
